When I was in my 20's,
I could eat whatever I wanted.
I had been a 4-season athlete
and weighed about 165.
When my focus changed
to building a family and career,
I stopped being active
and my weight started creeping up.
By 35, I had a round pot belly.
I told myself it was "sympathy weight"
due to my wife's pregnancies.
Conventional wisdom meant following
a low-fat diet and working out,
but after months of frustration,
I didn't see any change.
A demanding schedule was
a good excuse to stop trying,
and I gradually added a nice, round face
and love handles that gave me
a muffin top that hid my belt.
I was almost 50 when I hit 205,
and I felt and looked terrible.
I needed to find a solution
and I started searching.
I began hearing about strategies
for weight loss that were
exactly the opposite
of all the other programs I had tried.
It took some time, but I figured out a simple protocol
that helped me lose the weight- all of it!
My experience motivated to get certified as a health coach
and develop a simple program to help others
lose the weight and keep it off forever...
